U.S. Marine Col. Jeff K. Arruda presents a gift to Royal Thai Air Force Squadron Leader Aek Kaewsooksri Feb. 21 after the conclusion of exercise Cobra Gold 2013 at Wing One Royal Thai Air Force Base, Nakhon Ratchasima, Kingdom of Thailand. CG 13 was held to ensure that the U.S., along with allied and partner nations, are ready to respond to regional crises, including destruction caused by natural disasters. Arruda is the commanding officer of Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Kaewsooksri is an F-16 Falcon pilot with Wing One, Royal Thai Air Force.
