The cremains of retired Chief Warrant Officer Emery Richardson Jr. sit ready to be scattered over the Pacific Ocean waters during a burial at sea ceremony held aboard the Nimitz-class carrier USS Ronald Reagan. The cremains of three military veterans were committed to the sea during the ceremony. The Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group is underway following the successful completion of a Joint Task Force Exercise, the final hurdle before their upcoming deployment.
