Marines and sailors with 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, assess and treat a simulated casualty as part of a medical evacuation drill Feb. 16 at the Ojojihara Maneuver Area on mainland Japan. The drill was conducted prior to the start of the live-fire portion of Artillery Relocation Training Program 12-4 to ensure the effectiveness of the medical staff while in a field environment. 3rd Bn., 12th Marine Regiment, is part of 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
