A Royal Thai Marine fires his 45.-caliber pistol during a bilateral shoot with U.S. Marines from Combat Logistics Regiment 3 Feb. 16 in Sattahip, Chonburi province, Kingdom of Thailand, during exercise Cobra Gold 2013. “Just like U.S. Marines, Thai Marines take pride in everything from customs and courtesies…all the way up to weapons handling,” said U.S. Marine Capt. Clayton T. Anderson, an intelligence officer with CLR-3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force. CG 13, in its 32nd iteration, demonstrates U.S. commitment to its long-standing ally the Kingdom of Thailand, and toward regional partnership, prosperity and security in the Asia-Pacific region.
