U.S. Marines Cpl. David Lewis and Lance Cpl. Joshua Miller (gunning), assault men with Weapons Platoon, Company A, launch an 83mm rocket out of a shoulder mounted multi-purpose assault weapon Feb. 13 in Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand, at a live-fire platoon attack range during the field training portion of exercise Cobra Gold 2013. CG 13, in its 32nd iteration, is an annual Thai-U.S. co-sponsored exercise, which focuses on interoperability of forces and readiness, bolstering national partnerships and regional security in the Asia-Pacific region. Thai Marines are with 1st Infantry Company, 3rd Battalion. The U.S. Marines are with Company A, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines.
