U.S. Marines with the Multi-Domain Exploitation team process a fingerprint using Tape Glow during an MDET demonstration for I Marine Expeditionary Force leadership as part of Exercise Balikatan 24 at Camp Aguinaldo, Manila, Philippines, May 2, 2024. The MDET is a highly mobile forensics unit able to process fingerprints, fluids, and electronics recovered in the field almost anywhere. Their findings are then sent to an intelligence center for exploitation. BK 24 is an annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. military designed to strengthen bilateral interoperability, capabilities, trust, and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
