Dr. Janet Finlayson, Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) Scientific Recovery Expert (SRE), explains the mission process and progress to Vietnamese Office of Seeking Missing Persons (VNOSMP) team members during a recovery mission in Socialist Republic of Vietnam, March 31, 2024. The VNOSMP assists the United States with accounting for Missing in Action (MIA) personnel in Vietnam and the mission remains the bedrock of the U.S-Vietnam relationship.
