Chaplain (Maj.) Dean Akers, 18th Engineer Brigade Chaplain and native of Conway S.C. instructs soldiers and their spouses from the 54th Engineer Battalion on the five love languages during a marriage retreat here at the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort Jan. 15-17. Six hours of applicable skills training was provided, as well as six hours where the soldiers and spouses were able to take what they learn and apply it to reinforce communication and relationship skills.
