Salvors, working with the Key Bridge Unified Command 2024, remove a large section of bridge span, along with other wreckage on April 14, 2024 from the Patapsco River in efforts to reopen the Fort McHenry Channel in Baltimore. Debris and wreckage removal is on-going in support of a top priority to safely and efficiently open the Fort McHenry channel.
