Service members and their families participate in the annual Sexual Assault Awareness Prevention Month (SAAPM) glow run at Aloha Aina Park on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, April 5, 2024. Navy and Air Force Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) teams sponsored the event to increase awareness of sexual assault within the military and to provide helpful resources. The Department of Defense observes SAAPM by focusing on creating the appropriate culture to eliminate sexual assault and requiring a personal commitment from all service members.
