U.S. Air Force members of the 163d Security Forces Squadron, California Air National Guard, fire the new weapon system, the M18 SIG handgun, as well as complete a new course of fire for qualification at March Air Reserve Base, Calif., April 6, 2024. The enhanced 9mm caliber pistol is a lighter polymer pistol, with a more uniform trigger pull accommodating various hand sizes thereby improving shooter lethality within our diverse force.
