A Tactical Resupply Vehicle-150, an electric vertical takeoff and landing air cargo drone, takes off from the deck of the Stern Landing Vessel in order to test its ability to reach the shore and complete its journey back to the ship as part of Project Convergence Capstone 4, Feb. 24, 2024 off the coast of Red Beach, Camp Pendleton, CA.
The TRV-150 is an autonomous drone with a cruise speed of 67 mph, a maximum range of 43 miles, a flight time of 36 minutes and a maximum payload of 150 pounds.
PC-C4 is an Army-hosted, all-Service and multinational experiment. During PC-C4, the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory tested new technologies and capabilities and emerging concepts, including the multi-domain corridor. The Marine Corps’ participation in PC-C4 supports Force Design initiatives, integrated Joint force and Coalition capabilities into experimentation, and demonstrated the Marine Corps’ commitment to the Joint Warfighting Concept.
