Army Reserve Master Sgt. Alphonzo Major has a Meritorious Service Medal pinned upon his uniform Jan. 6 at the Army Reserve Training Center on Fort Gordon, Ga. Major, a Charleston, S.C., native, was honored in a retirement ceremony by the 359th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade for 32 years of service to the Army and Army Reserve.
