Cpl. Britt Foster, a Provost Marshal’s Office canine handler and native of Lubbock, Texas, does a forward thrust with a training baton against his partner, Cpl. Charles Robertson, canine handler and native of Davenport, Iowa, during a non-lethal force protection training class at PMO field, Jan. 29. After seeing a demonstration, PMO Marines and sailors paired up to practice the techniques on each other. One of the techniques which they learned was striking an aggressor in certain body regions with a baton to either subdue or incapacitate him.
