MAJURO, Republic of Marshall Islands (January 15, 2024) Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, create rebar cages for future concrete formwork. The project is part of Pacific Partnership 2024, an annual mission exercise by the United States Indo-Pacific Command and executed by U.S Pacific Fleet in coordination with partner nations. NMCB 4 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region to support and maintain a free and open Indo-Pacific. As the stand-in, crisis response, naval engineering force, NMCB 4 maintains a ready posture to deliver in-theater expeditionary logistics via expeditionary shore infrastructure, forward damage repair, and mobile construction.
