USACE Philadelphia District carries out environmental remediation at the Puchack Well Field site in Pennsauken, N.J. in May 2022 under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Superfund Program. The District manages design and construction contracts and provides technical assistance to EPA for hazardous waste remediation under the International and Interagency Services program, which allows USACE to do work for other federal agencies on a reimbursable basis.
