JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR HICKAM, Hawaii. (Oct. 15, 2023) – A sailor assigned to Republic of Korea Navy Sea Salvage and Rescue Unit (RoKN SSU) conducts a bottle swap on the Interspiro Divator DP2 diving apparatus during DIVEX 23 with Mobile Dive and Salvage Unit One (MDSU-1). DIVEX 23 is a bilateral diving and salvage subject matter expert exchange between MDSU-1 and RoKN SSU where divers work together to learn each other’s capabilities, improve interoperability through unique and challenging training scenarios, and foster camaraderie as fellow Deep Sea divers.
