CENTAM SMOKE trains firefighters

Thirty airman and one Honduran national, 612th Air Base Squadron along with 20 Honduran firefighters, 10 Guatemalan firefighter and 3 COPECO, Honduran equivialent to FEMA participated in a four day Central America Sharing Mutual Operational Knowledge and Experiences (CENTAM SMOKE) exercise at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras.CENTAM SMOKE allows U.S. and Central American firefighters a chance for team-building and training. Since 2007, 730 firefighters from multiple nations have been involved in the training.
