Wyatt, 2, enjoys a banana during Books and Breakfast at the Quantico Base Library on Dec. 18. More than 100 children participated in the singing, dancing and reading of "Jack and the Baked Beanstalk" by Colin Stimpson. After the reading, the children were visited by two special guests, Santa and Mrs. Claus. The Quantico Marine Corps Jazz Ensemble was also in attendance providing Christmas music before and after the reading and special effects during the story, including a crash of the cymbals when the beanstalk broke.
