Lance Cpl. Richie Chavis arrives to receive the keys to his new home during the Operation Coming Home presentation ceremony. Marines with 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment from Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, Chavis’ former unit, join family and friends in applause. Chavis was injured by an improvised explosive device while deployed to Helmand province, Afghanistan.
