    U.S. Air National Guard Staff Sgt. Hunter Fleck, a crew chief assigned to the 153rd Maintenence Squadron, cleans the windows of a C-130H aircraft equipped with the Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System (MAFFS) at Klamath Falls Airtanker Base to assist with aerial wildfire suppression efforts in the Northwest United States, Aug. 9, 2023. U.S. Air Force C-130H MAFFS-equipped aircraft, as requested by the National Interagency Fire Center and approved by the Secretary of Defense, provide unique fire-fighting capabilities to support wildfire suppression efforts against the Wiley and Jerry Ridge Fires in Oregon.
