Best of the Best Competition

Staff Sgt. Travis Musquiz, a Howitzer section chief assigned to 2nd Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, completes a 20 kilometer ruck march, Nov. 16, as part of the Division’s week-long Best of the Best competition. The annual event tests forward observers and artillerymen in their respective areas of expertise. It also gives the Paratroopers an opportunity to showcase their skills, builds their confidence in their teammates and gives the winners bragging rights for the next year. Musquiz was the second Paratrooper to complete the ruck march, finishing in only two hours and 33 minutes.
