The four Marines are the first females to hold billets with 2nd Tank Battalion. “I’m challenged daily here and I enjoy it because it’s not the same day to day routine. It’s something new every day,” said Gunnery Sgt. Shepard, a native from Grand Rapids, Mich., the administrative chief for 2nd Tank Battalion.
