Joseph Daily, a former sergeant who served with Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, as a rifleman during the Vietnam War, shares a laugh with Capt. The plaque is dedicated to the 654 Marines and sailors of 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines, who paid the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War.
