15th Marine Expeditionary Unit

Marines with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit render honors during the playing of the national anthem at the 237th Marine Corps Cake Cutting Ceremony held in the hangar bay of the USS Peleliu, Nov. 10. The 15th MEU is deployed as part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group as a theater reserve and crisis response force throughout U.S. Central Command and the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
