JPAC mission

Marine Corps Master Sgt. Floyde Rhoades reads the Marine Corps commandant's message while celebrating the 237th birthday of the United States Marine Corps on the beaches of Tarawa, the site of a major American offensive in the central Pacific during World War II. The team is deployed to the island searching for remains or evidence of the more than 500 Americans lost during the Battle of Tarawa.
