U.S. Army Sgt. Teion Middleton, squad leader of 8th squad, assigned to the 82nd Finance Battalion taking notes during a range brief at the U.S. Army Central Best Squad Competition, May 9, 2023 on Camp Buehring, Kuwait. Middleton received instruction about range operations and safety precautions before leading his team through a stress shooting exercise. The 5-day competition tests squads on common Soldier tasks, physical fitness, and mental fortitude.
