U.S. Staff Sgt. Scott Hicks, assigned to Alpha Battery, 2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment, Task Force 4-25, is awarded the Army Commendation Medal by U.S. Army Lt. Col. Frank Stanco, 377th PFAR battalion commander, on Forward Operating Base Salerno, Khost province, Afghanistan, Sept. 23, 2012. Hicks was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for exceptionally meritorious service while deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
