Soldiers assigned to A Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division assisted the Austin Honor Flight, here, Oct. 9. The Honor Flight Network is a nonprofit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. Veterans are flown to Washington D.C. to “visit and reflect at their memorials,” according to honorflight.org.
