The 100th repaired Stryker, infantry combat vehicle 513, is recognized at a ceremony at Camp As Sayliyah in Qatar, Jan. 12. Restoration teams at the forward-deployed U.S. military installation received the eight-wheeled light armored vehicle after major combat damage in Iraq. It is now able to return to securing infantry troops moving into battle. The mission to repair damaged units began at the U.S. military base in Qatar, located on the Arabian Peninsula, March 2005. Stryker Brigade Combat Teams in Iraq received their first repaired unit in July 2005.
