An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter from the Eightballers of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8 returns to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) after rescuing a Malaysian man who fell overboard in the Strait of Malacca. John C. Stennis is returning to U.S. 7th and 5th Fleet areas of responsibility four months ahead of schedule in order to maintain combatant commander requirements in the region. The U.S. Navy is constantly deployed to preserve peace, protect commerce and deter aggression through forward presence. Join the conversation on social media using #warfighting.
