The 402nd's Army Field Support Battalion-Hawaii provides support to Soldiers on Oahu, Hawaii as well as the Pōhakuloa Training Area, PTA, on Hawaii Island. The battalion’s Subsistence Supply Management Office, SSMO, team at PTA provided orientation on the current SSMO facilities to key leaders from the 402nd Army Field Support Brigade to show current capabilities and unique challenges in preparation for increased SSMO support to the training area.
