The observer controllers at the Joint Readiness Training Center near Fort Polk, La., train two technical inspectors from the 4th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 159th Combat Aviation Brigade, on how to assess an AH-1 Cobra helicopter, which is a downed aircraft, for slingload operations. Daily training, conducted in realistic environments, under realistic circumstances, ensures our forces maintain the highest levels of proficiency and readiness for worldwide deployment.
