Joint Base Lewis-McChord soldiers stop at the family advocacy and child, youth and school services stations during a suicide awareness terrain walk Sept. 27. “Many suicides that take place have to do with relationships,” said Bob Steger, family advocacy program specialist, Army Community Services. “We want to connect with soldiers and let them know suicide is not an option.”
