The amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5) transits the Pacific Ocean en route to its area of operation on a scheduled western Pacific deployment. Peleliu is the flagship for the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group, which consists of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) and the amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47).
