Inouye with the Hawaiian ti leaves used to bless the Raptors during the Arrival Ceremony at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, July 9, 2010. The arrival of the F-22 Raptor marks the beginning of a new associate unit between the Hawaii Air National Guard and the 15th Wing, active duty Air Force. The Raptor represents an exponential leap in warfighting capabilities for U.S. forces in the Pacific.
