Chief Petty Officer Daniel Burke, a machinery technician, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Christopher Blankenship, an electrician's mate aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Bertholf, inspect a machinery space during an underway drill in the Arctic Ocean, Aug. 29, 2012. The engineering department conducts drills for crew to become familiar with equipment and how to respond to a mechanical failure, fire or other damage.
