Several members of the U.S. Army 490th Civil Affairs Battalion's Team 12 celebrate several months of partner efforts with the Djibouti Armed Forces English Language Center class at Camp Chiek Osman in Djibouti City, Djibouti. Team 12, which is scheduled to redeploy in the coming weeks, held a short ceremony Sept. 12, 2012, to say goodbye and present certificates of participation to the school's 17 students and three instructors. The civil affairs battalion is assigned to Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa, which has civil affairs teams throughout eastern Africa working with military counterparts and the civilian population.
