Soldiers of the 1st Cavalry Division and 138th Fires Brigade are inducted into the Order of St. Barbara in the Al-Faw Palace at Camp Victory in western Baghdad, Nov. 23. Due to St. Barbara's association with lightning, she has been invoked for protection against the dangers of lightning and fire, and by association, she became the patron saint of artillerymen.
