Barbara Ward, a volunteer with the N.C. Baptist Men, folds fresh laundered clothes for North Carolina National Guardsmen participating in the Operation Panther training exercise, Aug. 25 to Sept. 8, 2012, in Charlotte, N.C. Ward, of Fayetteville, N.C., is working her first assignment with the organization at a mobile laundry unit supporting the National Guard service members as they complete annual training. She is a retired civilian from Fort Bragg military post with 35-1/2 years of service; continuing to aid Soldiers through volunteer work.
