A mannequin bears the dress blue uniform that once belonged to Army chaplain Lt. Col. Elmer Heindl. The mannequin is part of a display at the Armed Forces Reserve Center at Fort Benning, Ga., that was recently memorialized, Sept. 8 in honor of the late Catholic priest who served in the Pacific Theater during World War II. The photo in front shows the two brothers of Chaplain Heindl, who also served in the Army.
