    U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Tim Moser, the commanding officer of the 451st Flying Training Squadron, makes final preparations to his boat at the Bayou Grande Marina at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Fla., Aug. 25, 2012, in anticipation of Tropical Storm Isaac. The storm was expected to make landfall along the Gulf Coast the evening of Aug. 28, 2012. The last major storm to affect northwest Florida was Hurricane Dennis, a category-three hurricane, which made landfall near Pensacola July 10, 2005. Isaac developed as a tropical storm over the Western Atlantic Ocean Aug. 21, 2012, affecting Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Cuba before making landfall as a hurricane on the Gulf Coast of the United States.
