U.S. Army Maj. Bradley Keough, veterinarian field officer with the 448th Civil Affairs Battalion's functional specialty team, shows local veterinary assistants tools that will be used in the Veterinary Civic Action Program, or VETCAP Isiola, Kenya, Aug. 4, 2012. The civil affairs battalion is assigned to Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa, which participates in many VETCAPs across East Africa, aiming to help strengthen the capabilities of community based animal health workers, ensure livestock health, enhance agriculture and economic stability and develop trust and confidence with partner nations.
