Cpl. Gary E. Meadows, an aircraft rescue fire fighter, teaches cadets with the West Carteret High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps about some of the equipment the Marine fire fighters have to use aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Aug. 8. For some of the students this visit, dubbed a back-to-school fieldtrip, was their first time on Cherry Point.
