1-377 Field Artillery Regiment welcomes their first female battery commander

Capt. Christina Payne is the first female battery commander assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 377th Field Artillery Regiment, 17th Fires Brigade. The Virginia Beach, Va., native has been in the Army for seven years and looks forward to progressing further in her career.
