Capt. Stacy Lardizabal, center, intelligence officer of Division West's 191st Infantry Brigade, assists a role-played Afghan police officer in a briefing during training for Lardizabal's Security Force Assistance Adviser Team at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, La., July 19. The SFA AT's upcoming deployment will be Lardizabal's second time in Afghanistan; she has also deployed twice to Iraq. Her role in the SFA AT is to assist her Afghan counterparts in trying to deter future threat events by studying current threats and providing analyses using historical information. "We try to stop the bad guy from doing bad things," she said.
