The Fairchild Trophy, presented to the best bomb wing in the U.S. Air Force, is proudly displayed in the 28th Operations Support Squadron Radar Approach Control facility on Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., July 17, 2012. The 28th Bomb Wing was presented the trophy during the Global Strike Command's Global Strike Challenge competition award ceremony at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Nov. 9, 2011. Since that time they trophy has made several appearances at various facilities around Ellsworth to signify every Airman contributed to winning the best bomb wing title.
