Ashley Blackburn, an airman and combat medic assigned to the 811th, treat a survivor of a simulated nuclear-blast attack during the Vibrant Response 13 field training exercise at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, Ind., July 26. The Ohio National Guardsman participating in the exercise regularly conduct monthly training events to supplement the training they receive in between the annual Vibrant Response training.
