Soldiers from the Chillicothe based 1194th Engineer Company use jack hammers to break concrete as part of a training exercise, July 8, at Camp Sherman in Chillicothe. The soldiers are learning to use this equipment as part of their two week annual training. This training can be used in the event of a building collapse, or when first responders need additional assistance. When their training is complete, the soldiers of the 1194th will have completed the first step to becoming members of the Ohio National Guard’s Homeland Response Force.
