The 2nd Forward Surgical Team was stationed in Combat Outpost Khilagay, Afghanistan, from June 27, 2011 to Jan. 15, 2012. They saw more than 350 trauma patients and preformed approximately 90 medical evacuations. Many of their patients were not just American, but Afghan as well. (Courtesy photo)
